There's a reason the industry is called Show Business, because that's exactly what it is—a business. The key to being a successful screenwriter is selling your work.
Here's a few of our graduates who followed our course recommendations and business advice resulting in their screenplays becoming feature films.
"Mariannjely Marvel used the course to champion diverse voices, learning to craft stories that bring fresh, new perspectives to the screen."
Writer & Producer, "Moving Forward"
"Katz Carter learned the critical power of the rewrite, mastering how to build tension through precision and silence. He truly absorbed the 'every word counts' philosophy."
Writer & Director, "#FullMethod"
"Suzanne Nichols made the leap from writing novels to creating vivid, translatable images—mastering the true visual language of film."
Script Writer, "Evolution:
The Genius Equation"
"Ian McCamant found his unique voice by twisting conventions. He learned to focus on deep character studies and societal mores, even in a genre like a zombie film."

First: We bypass the gatekeepers who block 99% of all screenplays and get your script in the hands of an active Hollywood Producer who has the power to shine the green light on your project.
Of course, we can't guarantee that your script will become a movie.
What we do guarantee is that if you complete The Ultimate Screenwriter Course, and send us your finished script, we will get it in front of a bona fide Hollywood producer who has the power and ability to turn your screenplay into a movie.
And we offer (and highly advise) mentorship consultations before you submit your script—getting your script into the hands of a bona fide Hollywood Producer is a big deal and a huge opportunity so you should want to make the best first impression possible.
Moonlighting revolutionized TV with its meta-humor and sexual tension, breaking the fourth wall before anyone knew what that meant.
Mork & Mindy launched Robin Williams' career and changed comedy forever with its improvisation and heart.
He taught at ArtCenter for 36 years; California State University at Long Beach for 4. He's given screenwriting seminars as far afield as Perth, Australia, and Mumbai, India. He's received two Best Teacher awards in the process.
He has been on both sides of the pitch desk; as a screenwriter and as an executive producer.
Here's what makes The Ultimate Screenwriter different:
We guarantee your completed script will be read by real Hollywood producers who have made films you've actually heard of.
Not "maybe." Not "if you're lucky." Not "if you know the right people."
Let us explain exactly how this works, because this is the most important part:
Watch every lesson. Go deep with Ron into myth, archetype, and the fundamental patterns that make stories work. This isn't optional—this is the foundation that makes everything else possible.
We need to know you're serious. That means you've watched every lesson in the course. We track this. You can't skip ahead to the guarantee without doing the work.
Using what you've learned, write your best screenplay and make sure your first ten pages are the very best you can make them. Not a rough draft. Not a first pass. Your BEST work. The first ten pages need to showcase everything Ron taught you about mythology, character, and structure, because we will get your entire script in front of a Hollywood producer and GUARANTEE he will read the first ten pages (i.e. the first ten minutes of your movie). Your job is to so captivate the producer with these ten pages that they can't stop reading. That's how you sell your script.
*GUARANTEED read of the first ten pages of your screenplay (ten minutes of your movie) which is enough for the producer to decide if he's interested in reading more. The longer you keep their attention, the more they read, the better your odds of selling or optioning your script or making Hollywood's Screenwriter Blacklist.
Within 45 days, we will return your script with detailed notes. These aren't notes from an algorithm. These aren't notes from a recent film school grad. These are notes written by a Hollywood producer who has made movies you have heard of and can easily verify are real. Real credits. Real films. Real theatrical releases. The kind of person who can actually greenlight projects—or knows who can.
If your work demonstrates the principles Ron teaches, you've just earned access to a real Hollywood professional who knows your name, knows your work, and can help you take the next step. This isn't a query letter sent into the void. This isn't an anonymous contest. This is DIRECT ACCESS to the industry you're trying to break into. This is direct access to the very people who can greenlight your project.
In the world of screenwriting, it is crucial to adopt a strategic mindset in order to navigate the competitive landscape and achieve success
The focus is on the essential needs of a narrative: story logic should emanate from character development rather than solely relying on the plot
Coming up with a story idea can be challenging, but it is crucial to be patient and open to drawing inspiration from the world around you
When writing, it's important to hook the reader early, typically within the first ten pages. By page 17, the main character should make a decision that sets the course for the rest of the movie
Understanding your theme is crucial as it guides all scenes and character development in your narrative. It serves as a compass keeping your story consistent and on track
A scene is a continuous segment of a story that unfolds in the same place and time, ending with a "but" or "therefore" to drive the story forward and are crucial for engaging the audience
Give Your Protagonist a Defining Entrance. Establish a distinctive factor about them for the reader to remember. Create a first impression to play into or play against
Dialogue expresses character through text and subtext. Character creation in line with the screenplay's theme is vital. Subtext is the implied meaning beyond stated words
Point of view (P. O. V.) in storytelling is crucial as it determines through whose eyes the story is being told and can change the entire approach or attitude of your story depending on the perspective chosen
Comedy doesn't always start with a comedic premise. Aphorism: Comedy is Tragedy plus Time. Humor often arises from revealing human flaws and extreme actions
Genre in film refers to specific categories with distinct characteristics like content, style, narrative conventions, and characters that evoke a particular emotional response
Succeeding in the film industry hinges on more than just having a great script; proper format is essential. Your screenplay must be flawlessly formatted to appear professional
To put things into perspective, this course is designed to take approximately 240 total hours to complete over a 12 week period. If you were actually working in the film industry, this same 240 hours would represent a very slow month of work. However, we understand you are taking this course as a student and as such, it's hard to make a full time commitment so we have it scheduled at 80 hours per month. But as you go through the course we are hoping you start to find your voice and begin developing the confidence that, "Hey, I think I can do this!"
When that point comes, we'd like to suggest the following: we have allocated 120 hours (half the total hours) for you to write your screenplay. That's roughly one hour per page for a feature movie. Consider that if you sell your script, you may be making as much as $2000 per page.
This is where we suggest showing your screenplay to friends in the business (showing it to people who are not in the industry is a waste of time as they will have no clue how to read a screenplay.) Or, as an alternative, consider signing up for our professional mentorship opportunities. Most professional screenwriters don't even consider submitting their work until they've done at least three or four drafts.
If you understand the film business, you'll also understand what a huge opportunity we are offering you in bypassing the gatekeepers and putting your script in the hands of an active Hollywood Producer. Since this is likely your first, or one of your first scripts, don't you think with all that's riding on what this producer thinks of your script that you want to make it the very best you can?
We encourage you to put in the time to listen to mentor suggestions and rewrite where applicable. There's a simple equation going here, the more you show us how hard you are willing to work and how much you value this opportunity the more time and effort we will put into opening doors for you.
TOO BAD THEY AREN'T TEACHING YOU HOW TO MAKE A LIVING AT SCREENWRITING.
You're desperate for someone to just LOOK at your work with real industry eyes or offer advice on breaking into the industry.
You start researching programs and you discover a harsh reality. All the great teachers are dead.
The legends who actually worked in the trenches of Hollywood, who wrote the films that inspired you—they're gone. And what you're left with are courses taught by people who haven't sold a script in a decade (if ever), offering cookie-cutter formulas and zero real-world connections.

This is the big one, isn't it? You think it takes connections to make it in Hollywood, in New York, in the indie community.........
And you're absolutely right. It does.
You've heard the stories. Someone's cousin knows a producer. Someone went to film school with an executive. Someone got lucky at the right party. And you? You don't know anyone. You're on the outside looking in. Or, you write well, but can't get past the GateKeepers. The readers.
(Every year over 50,000 screenplays are written. Only 500 of them get past the gatekeepers.) WE GUARANTEE YOUR SCRIPT WILL BE ONE OF THEM.
HOW DO WE DO THIS? BETWEEN US WE HAVE OVER 100 YEARS OF INDUSTRY NETWORKING, WORKING AND BUILDING CONNECTIONS SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO.
Let's address the elephant in the room. You've seen the headlines about AI writing scripts. Maybe you're thinking: Why bother learning screenwriting when a computer can do it?
Because AI can't write YOUR story.
AI can't feel what you've felt. It can't draw from your experiences, your pain, your triumphs, your unique perspective on the world. AI is a tool—nothing more. It can't create without a human mind guiding it, prompting it, giving it direction.
Hollywood and Indie Filmmaking don't need more algorithms. It needs storytellers. It needs YOU.
And here's what AI will never understand: the deep mythological structures that make stories resonate across cultures and centuries. The archetypal patterns that connect your story to every story that's ever mattered. The human truth underneath the plot mechanics.
That's what Ron Osborn teaches. And that's what will make you irreplaceable.
The first thing to know is just how big a deal it is getting your script in front of an active Hollywood producer. This isn't something just anyone can do, even if they've been writing screenplays for decades and sold some of their scripts. It's an incredible opportunity to make a first impression on someone who can change your life.
Unless you're 100% convinced that the first ten pages of your screenplay are perfect you'd be a fool not to have an industry professional screenwriter or producer look your script over and offer their thoughts. Next to signing up for our Ultimate Screenwriter Course, it's the smartest thing you can do to stack the deck in your favor.
There's one caveat to our mentorship consultation offers--you have to complete our course and have at least a first draft of your screenplay finished before we will work with you.
Simply put, you need to prove you're ready before we'll make ourselves available--you'd be amazed at how many wanna-be screenwriters flake at this point.
The good news is that if you dedicate yourself to Ron's course your script should be in the top 5% of all scripts written that year, and if you do decide on availing yourself of a mentorship consultation you've just improved your script enough to be in the top 2%, and your getting your script in the hands of a producer put you in the top 1% of all scripts submitted for that year.
We've said it before, and we'll say it again, there are no guarantees you will sell your script, but you've got to like those odds.
